THE Knapsack was designed for both ease and elegance as it transitions from an over-the-shoulder to a backpack optional carryall.
Not your typical backpack, this bag exudes sophistication with its slender unassuming shoulder straps and unexpected appointments. We wanted to create a handbag that would be simple in its design yet fabulous in our use of fine leathers and bold hardware. THE Knapsack juxtaposes finery with its polished exteriors along-side a bit of boho chic with its unlined, suede-side interiors just like a traditional knapsack.
Your perfect travel companion
The light-weight knapsack makes a great travel companion as it can lay perfectly flat or even rolled up like a mini sleeping bag in your luggage.
Upon arrival, pull it out and it makes a great bag for sight-seeing and exploring while then transitioning to a lovely evening bag for a dinner on the town. In fact, we’ve been known to stow away a couple of knapsacks on our travels.
Hand-tailored with a personal touch
Rather than a production line, each knapsack is made by a single craftsman, from beginning to end, locally in Central Oregon, USA. You will see and feel the personal touch of the individual who made your bag. Each of our bags is made of beautiful combinations of natural leathers selected to make each knapsack a special creation.
This is a bag that you can take anywhere, and it will just “fit.”
